It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern A. Snipes (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Boardman and Meta Boardman; her husband Albert Snipes; her daughter Sally; her granddaughter Heather Brittain; and her siblings, Nadine, JoAnne, Betty Lou, Arlene, Ken and Franklin.
She is survived by: her sons, Daryl Snipes (Linda) of Council Bluffs, Patrick Snipes (Debra) of York, NE. and Daniel Snipes (Ruta) of York, NE.; her brother Paul Christensen of Council Bluffs; and her sister-in-law Edna Boardman. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.
