She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Nelson and Millie Larson Nelson; her husbands, Kenneth E. Bauer and John Hennessey; and her son Curtis E. Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Susan (Dean Hulsebus) of Dallas Center, IA and William Bauer (Sharon); and her daughter-in-law Kathy Bauer of Denison, IA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six stepchildren, and numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
