He is survived by: his brother Mark Rasmussen (Brenda) of Harlan, Iowa; his niece Katie Ranney (Robert) of Ames, Iowa; his nephew Matt Rasmussen of Hot Springs; his great-niece Kira Ranney; and his great-nephew Oliver Ranney.
