He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Schwartz, and Marie Schwartz, Sr.; his wife Arlene; his grandson Shawn Snook; and his niece Vicke Dinslage.

He is survived by: his children, Jerry Schwartz (Kendra), Leslie Snook, Arthur Snook and Laura Crews; his grandchildren, Jeromy, Alex, Kelia, Jesse, Sarah and Josh; his great grandchildren, Avri, Nevaeh and Ryan; his sister Betty Wise (Keith); and his nephews, David Snodgrass, Jr. and Gregory Snodgrass.
