With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Jean Rich (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Emma Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Emma Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Osler and Annie Mae Osler (Walker); her husband William "Bill" Rich; her son Larry Rich; her siblings, Doris Duncan and Kenneth Osler; and her niece Linda Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Booton (Dan), Robert Rich (Joanne), LuAnn Ruff (Andy) and Lori Dreager (Mark); and her daughter-in-law Jane Rich. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
