With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Duane Blocker (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on November 8, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Blocker and Arleta Blocker (Wilkins); his wife JoAnn; and his siblings, Henry, Larry and Linda.

He is survived by: his son-in-law Rudy; his daughters, Penny Darnell (Pat), Tracy Bruun (Tom) of Ankeny, IA and Wendy Scherzinger (Rudy) of Hurricane Mills, TN; his grandchildren, Jonathan Neal (Jessica), Nickole Cullen (Jacob), Derek Bruun, Shelby Bruun, McKenzie Scherzinger, Bryan Darnell of Japan and Nolan Darnell (Maddie); and his brother Marvin Blocker (Sharon). He is also survived by grandkids, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to an animal shelter of your choice.
