It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolores Virginia Fort of Council Bluffs, Iowa, born in Stanton, Iowa, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Paul and Evelyn Swanson (Hultquist); her husband Jack Fort; and her sister Lenore Mattson. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Richards of Council Bluffs, IA and David Fort (Brenda) of Council Bluffs, IA; her grandchildren, Julia Krapfl (Craig), Christopher Richards (Jenni), Michelle Barta, Joshua Fort (Larissa) and Courtney Fort; and her sister-in-law Mary Carlson of Blue Springs, MO. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
