It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. O'Connor of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James G. "Jerry" O'Connor; his brother James "Fats" O'Connor; his niece Andrea; and his nephew Jacob. He is survived by: his wife Marcia "Merc" O'Connor of Council Bluffs; his children, Amy O'Connor (Brian Regan) of Omaha, Michelle Fravel (Jon) of Iowa City, Iowa and Matthew O'Connor (Lisa) of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandchildren, Taylor, Chloe, Erika, Willow, Easton, Isla, Kendall and Grant; and his siblings, Bill "Crumb" O'Connor of Norfolk, Nebraska, Kate O'Connor of Neola, Barb Farris of Omaha, Beth Slovinski (Bill) of Omaha and Marian McDonald (Tim Costanzo) of Omaha. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Albert Schools, Food Bank for the Heartland or St. Croix Hospice.
