He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Ferrel and Eva Ferrel (Skipton); his grandson Kyle Sorensen; his great grandchild Nathan Jones; and his brother Carl "Bud" Ferrel.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Ferrel; his daughters, DeEtt Sorensen and DeNean Carlson-Rozic; his siblings, Joe Ferrel, Sandy Belt and Glen Wilber; and his grandchildren, Michelle Foote (Rich), Kevin Sorensen (Megan), Kelly Sorensen, Amber Hawk (Phillip) and Alison Hibler (Alex). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.
