He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Covey and Rosie Covey (Boswell); his wife Patsy Covey; his daughter Denise; and his siblings, Lori, Louise, Elbert and Carl.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Tuttle (Brock) and Dennis Covey; his brother Calvin Covey; and his sister-in-law Shirley Covey. He is also survived by 2 granddaughters and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
