He was predeceased by: his father Clarence A. McDonald,; his wife Leanna K. Heistand; and his siblings, Alice McIntosh and Gerald McDonald. He is survived by: his children, David of Council Bluffs and Kathy McDonald; his nieces, Carol Pantoja of Omaha and Roberta Symuleski (Robert) of Elizabeth City, N. C.; and his friends, Charlie and Diane Young of Duncan, Oklahoma..
