He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Harris and Lydia Elizabeth Marie Harris (Macrae); his wife Connie Harris; and his siblings, Ellen Lorene, Frank, Ernie and Paul Harris.

He is survived by: his sons, Neal Harris (Betty) of Omaha, NE and Shawn Harris (Kathy) of Council Bluffs, IA; his grandchildren, Dalton Harris (April), Benjamin Harris (Kylie), Tara Kalantjakos (Tim), Makayla Richardson (Travis) and Tanner Harris; his great grandchildren, Izzabella Harris, Bentley Harris, Madison Harris, Sophia Kalantjakos, Helena Kalantjakos, Maverick Harris, Ava Richardson and Eden Richardson; and his sister Ada Bell of Nevada, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
