With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Haymond of Council Bluffs, Iowa, born in Winterset, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Wadle; his parents, Gene and Hazel; his siblings-in-law, Bernal Bumbarger, Louis Wadle and Evelyn Wadle; and his parents-in-law, Ferman and Luella Wadle.
He is survived by: his son Terry (Julie); his grandchildren, Abbey and Kevin; his sister Betty Bumbarger; his in-laws, Cliff, Joan Wadle, Larry, Patty Wadle, Tom Wadle, Marilyn Martin, Dick, Jean Wadle, Pat, Cindy Wadle, Joyce, Tom Frericks, Lon, Carla Wadle and Kathy Wadle; and his niece Cheri Janecek.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Winterset Cemetery (502 S 4th St, Winterset, IA 50273).
