We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Inez Eshelman of Council Bluffs, Iowa, born in Griswold, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl DeKay and Lois DeKay (Mewhirter); and her husband Curtis Eshelman (Scoop). She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Tousley (Rick) of Lewiston, ID, Marilyn Lang (John) of Seattle, WA and Jodie Boelens (Herb) of Grand Rapids, MI; her grandchildren, Kristin Schmidt, Rob Schmidt (Debbie), Jack Tousley (Hazel), Mike Lang (Allison), David Lang (Allen), Jennifer Standfest (Josh) and Pamela Diekevers (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Morgan, Kendall, Tyler, Quinn, Hunter, Andrew, Sawyer, Aaron, Ellie, Zach and Jamie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
During Covid, however, she became more isolated and needed more help herself, and moved to Grand Rapids, MI, to be closer to family.
