It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara E. Christie of Council Bluffs, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick J. Bucknam and Doris Bucknam (Rosch); her husband Robert P. "Bob" Christie of Paul's Episcopal Church; and her brother Fred Bucknam Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Mary Sue White (Bob) of Omaha and Rod Christie (Melinda) of Waterville; and her aunts, Betty and Carol. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to either St. Paul's Episcopal Church or to the Pottawattamie County Genealogical Society.
