He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Rathke and Selma Rathke; and his sister-in-law Jean King. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Dan Rathke (Robin), Barb Wiggins (Bill) and Jennifer Foulke (Daryle); and his grandchildren, Nikki Guill (Drew), Dan Rathke Jr. (Brandi Belt), Justin Christiansen (Jennifer), Kaila Rathke, Samantha Rathke, Jordon Yearian, Ryne Foulke and Kyle Wilson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
