She was predeceased by: her father James D. Wilson; her brother Richard (Patsy Wilson) of Berryville, Arkansas; and her mother-in-law Lynda Fontaine of Council Bluffs. She is survived by: her mother Maude Wilson (Smith); her husband Jay Fontaine; her daughter Deborah; her granddaughter Rebecca; her siblings, Phyllis (Archie Dodson) of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Marsha (Paul Konz) of Mayer, Arizona and Jim (Susan Wilson) of Nixa, Missouri; her brother-in-law Randy (Nadine Fontaine) of Council Bluffs; and her father-in-law Charles Fontaine of Council Bluffs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.
She also started and ran a private charity, Handfuls of Purpose, which helps native ministries in India, Pakistan, and Africa, ministering to widows, orphans, and native pastors as they reach others for Jesus.
