She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Albertsen and Christine Albertsen (Sonksen); her husband Richard Wetzel; her son Roger Wetzel; her grandson Roger Wetzel Jr.; and her siblings, Helen Hansen and Alvin Albertsen.
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine Romey (Stan), Ronald Wetzel, Lynnette Kinney (Rawlin), Rolyn Wetzel (Cheryl) and Richard Wetzel (Gale); and her brother LeRoy Albertsen (Sharlene). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
