He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Brown and Mary Brown (Bevins); his wife Jane Brown; and his brothers, Bob and Dwight Brown.

He is survived by: his sons, Greg Brown (Lenette) and Gordon Brown; his grandchildren, Brandi Spencer (Michael) and Shane Watson; his great grandchild Kolten Spencer; his sister Beverly Hart; and his brother-in-law Robert Thomas (Larita Bozwell). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
