It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Fortune (Corydon, Iowa), born in Osceola, Iowa, who passed away on August 3, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Everett and Gladys Izetta James (Bailey); her husband Wayne; her sisters, Virginia Garner and Donna Jean McBroom; and her siblings-in-law, Allen Sullivan, Lloyd Garner and Wanda Jackson.

She is survived by: her children, James Luther, Steven Dwayne, Jim Fortune (Patty), Steve Fortune (Vickie) and Ronda Davis (Garth); her sister JoAnn Sullivan; and her brother-in-law Cloyd McBroom. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Lois developed Alzheimer's in her later years which affected her memory and health.
