It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keo Konnie Holmes (Corydon, Iowa), who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Gibbs and Mildred Gibbs (Sallman); and her siblings, Kenneth Jay, Karolyn Hatch, Kathleen Spees, Karmen Diehl and Karen Cochran.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Holmes (Sandy) of Corydon, Iowa, Mike Holmes of Des Moines, Iowa and Julie Foster (David) of Walford; her grandchildren, Chelsey Markle (Ryan) of Iowa City, Iowa, Samantha Lexa (Steve) of North Liberty, Iowa, Lance Holmes (Debora) of Delray Beach, Florida, Matti Holmes (Charlie Gambrel), Abbi Gilliland (Trae), Delanie Peet (Dustin) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Taylor Foster (Mady) of North Liberty; her great grandchildren, James Lexa (Alice), Isaac Markle (Frederick), Liam Holmes (Melina), Bennett Gilliland, Tatum, Antin and Gibson Peet; her brother Keith Gibbs of Astoria; and her sister-in-law Juanita Holmes of Slater. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
