It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Phillip Shealey Sr. of Corydon, Iowa, born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on May 6, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Crista Wood Shealey; his children, Dr. John Phillip Shealey Jr. (Jen) of Corydon, Iowa and Katherine Shealey Norwood (Christopher) of Russellville, Arkansas; his sister Gwen Myers of Davenport, Florida; his grandchildren, Savannah Pardue, Peyton Shealey, Mikeala Norwood, Jennifer Norwood and Matthew Norwood; his nieces, Amber Blaustein of Boynton Beach and Holly Acree of Lake Wales, Florida; and his aunt Jean Shealey Reeves of Tallahassee, Florida.
When he could no longer take care of his sailboat, he donated it to the Lighthouse Children's Home in Tallahassee.
