He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard McCarty and Estel McCarty (Ward); and his wife Jeralee McCarty (O'Dell). He is survived by: his children, Jeremy McCarty (Julie) and Jennifer Cashatt (Mitch); his grandchildren, Estelle, Ireland and Boone Cashatt; and his pets, Izzy and Buddy. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to "Giving Back Outdoors".
