He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Butler and Ruby Butler; his brother Terry Leazer; his granddaughter Elise Butler; and his daughter-in-law Pam Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; and his sons, Ron (Laurie), Tom (Dena), Bob (Bonnie) and Steve (Traci). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Cedar Street Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
