It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Levis of Corydon, Iowa, who passed away on June 21, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Zimmerman and Alice Zimmerman (Hammond); her husband Howard Levis; her son Jimmy Levis; her grandsons, Mike Levis and Scott Couchman; her great grandchild Ryan Gipson; and her sisters, Alpha Hickerson, Verda Burkland and Mildred Parker.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Couchman (Richard); her daughter-in-law Mary Lou Levis; her sister Avenell Alley; her granddaughters, Sheila Gipson (Scott) of Beach City and Sherri Schmidt (Adam) of Cedar Falls; her granddaughters-in-law, Carrie Levis of Blythedale and Angie Couchman of Sewal, Iowa.; and her great grandchildren, Brooke Carrillo (Francisco) of Mont Belvieu and Jessica Levis of Cherry Point.
