She was predeceased by: her parents, James Orlie and Pearl E. Hayhurst (Elder); her children, Sue Kimble and Bobby Van Fleet; and her siblings, Opel Hayhurst, Ruby Carlson, James, Floyd and Gearld Hayhurst.

She is survived by: her spouse Carl Eugene Van Fleet; and her daughters, Judy McCollough (Bill), Margie Ellis (Bob) and Shirley Fallin. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
