He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Shriver and Chloe Shriver (Bettis); his son Kendall Shriver; and his sister Wilma Auxier. He is survived by: his wife Laura Kathleen "Kathy" Cooksey; his children, Kahla Ennis (Carl), Barton Shriver (Julie), Shannon Shriver (Teri) and Heather Nickell (Dana); and his grandchildren, Kent Lee Ennis, Karrie Tidlund, Sasha Babcock, Kendra Regan, Merribeth Shriver, Caleb Shriver, Michael Shriver, Jordan Nickell, Patrick Nickell and Melia Nickell. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
