With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Floy Wensel (Corydon, Iowa), born in Powersville, Missouri, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Gill and Betty Gill (Beary); her son David Wensel; and her brother Kenneth Gill. She is survived by: her husband Gail Wensel; her children, Terry Wensel (Lori) of Milan, IL and Lori Baraks (Greg) of Sealy, TX; her grandchildren, Jeremy Benz, Jessica Wensel, Mindy Rodriguez Rios (Josh), Monica Westley, Johnathan Baraks (Rebecca) and Jake Baraks (Katie); her nieces, Robin Greer and Kyle Wensel Munoz; her nephew Rick Gill; her sisters-in-law, Ann Maring and Linda Gill; and her close friends, Billie Sue Kadel, Rochell Imboden, Twila Cederstrom and Eva Gatrel. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
