Carl Coates Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Coates (Corydon, Iowa), who passed away on February 17, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Coates and Sybil Coates (McDaniel); and his son Chris. He is survived by: his siblings, Laura Marie Miner (Coates) and Frank Coates, Jr.; his children, Thomas Marshall, Christopher Carl and Michael Henry; his wife Nancy of Corydon; his sons, Tom (Lee Ann) of Norwalk and Mike (Gloria Burleson) of Frisco, Texas; and his grandchildren, Sarah (Dustin Harper) of Cumming, Katie (Charlie Ochanpaugh) of Cumming, Grant Coates (Katie) of Norwalk, Casey Coates (Dana) of Corydon, Breann Enright (Michael) of Corydon and Chase Coates of Cambria. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
