He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Armstrong and Bessie Armstrong (Daniels); his wife Darlene Nash; his granddaughter Kim Erick; and his daughter-in-law Teri Bryant.
He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Brown of Marshalltown, IA; his stepchildren, Gary Bryant (Judy) of Colo, IA, David Bryant (Shin) of Crestview, FL and Debra Jensen (Jerry) of Wayne, NE; and his grandchildren, Cody Brown, Sheena Bringa, Ted Gould (Tammy) and Traci Kaufman. He is also survived by sister, Margaret, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
