He is survived by: his pet Muggs; his children, Allen Ludwig (Lori) of Corwith, Glenda Mueller (Mike) of Iowa City, Ramon Ludwig (Leslie) of Algona and James Ludwig (Jennifer) of Wesley; his grandchildren, Nathan Mueller (Kelli) of Solon, Matthew Mueller of Chicago, IL, Joseph Mueller of Iowa City, Christopher Ludwig (Emily) of Wesley, Landon Ludwig (JoHanna) of Algona, Maggie Ludwig (Bryce Vorland) of Spencer, Sam Ludwig (Gabriella Martens) of Algona, Nicholas, Katie and John Ludwig of Wesley; his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Amelia Andresen-Mueller, Forrest and Louise Ludwig; and his brothers, William Ludwig (Janice) of Corwith and Gary Ludwig (Joan) of Corwith.
