She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Umstead and Nellie Umstead (McCutcheon); her husband Dale Zeigler; her son David Zeigler; her children-in-law, Blanche Zeigler (Weaver) and Richard Willier; her grandson Ryan Estes; and her brothers, LeRoy Umstead (Kathryn), Robert Umstead (Rose), Paul Umstead (Maxine), Lyden Umstead (Vi) and Richard Umstead.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Zeigler of Britt, Nelda Jackson (Kelly) of Garner and Amber Soria (Steve) of Clear Lake; her grandchildren, Allan Zeigler, Jason Dean Tripp, Nicole Bruce-Rootkie (Curt), Angie Roelofsen (Josh), Allison Jackson (Levi), Eric Welsh (Suzi), Danielle Welsh, Joey Welsh (Mariah) and Michelle Jackson (Chris); her great grandchildren, McKinze Zeigler Berg, Colton Bruce (Hailey), Adyson Rootkie, Brynlee Rootkie, Zayne Zeigler and Grace Welsh; her great great grandchild Carson Berg; and her sister-in-law Delores Umstead of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
