It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Turner (Corwith, Iowa), born in Gray, Iowa, who passed away on October 21, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Truhlar and Clarence Tessman; her sons-in-law, Calvin Rummens and James McLennan; and her niece Terri Duncan (Tessman).
She is survived by: her husband Nelson Turner; her children, Lucy McLennan (J. R. Clark) of Hurley, WI, Sharon Mulvihill (Michael) of Seattle, WA, Glen Turner (Pamela) of Walnut, IL and Wayne Turner (Lesley) of Garner, IA; and her brother John Tessman (Jean) of Riverside, MO.. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Igumbilo Lutheran Girl's Secondary School, Tanzania, for church.
