She is survived by: her former husband Franklin Rugh Altemus; her children, Vern of Cleghorn, IA, Audrey Sanderson (Ron) of Correctionville, IA and Lila Byers (Keith) of Correctionville, IA; her grandchildren, Renee Sanderson Van Marel (Ross) of Ames, IA, Lorie Byers Stanton (Tom) of Alta, IA, Angela Sanderson Alitz (Jeff) of Correctionville, IA and Stacy Byers Orndorff (Aaron) of Correctionville, IA; her great grandchildren, Rylie Van Marel Harreld (Kevin) of St. Louis, MO, Taler Stanton of Glendale, AZ, Mason Alitz (Rachel) of Pender, NE, Reid Van Marel of Ames, IA, McKenna Alitz of Kingsley, IA, Kaden Orndorff of Correctionville, IA, Laney Stanton of Alta, IA, Sydney Stanton of Alta, IA and Katibree Orndorff of Correctionville, IA; her great great grandchildren, Johnna, Jasmin and RJ; and her sisters, Marjorie Hoppe, Alice Volkert, Phyllis Todd and Wanda Friedrichsen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
