He is survived by: his parents, Clarence Johnston and Ethel Johnston (Wimmer); his spouse Laura Boswell; his children, Lois Elaine Davison of Clarinda, Iowa, Linda Marie Walsh (Scott) of Lincoln, Nebraska and Wayne Dean Johnston (Donna); his grandchildren, Andy Davison (Justine) of Clarinda, Iowa, Karla Davison of Clarinda, Iowa and Josh Johnston; his great grandchildren, Tyson Johnston, Owen Davison and Drake Davison; his sisters, Doris Heaton (Henry) of Brooks, Iowa and Wilma Bloom of Lenox, Iowa; his parents-in-law, Elza and Mabel Boswell; his brother Leo Johnston; his siblings-in-law, Alice Johnston (Vogel), Tootsie Boswell, Berniece Huntington, Orval Boswell, Clarence Boswell and Warren Bloom; and his son-in-law Dan Davison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
