He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond "Jack" Eads and Nettie Eads (Rae); his sister Brenda "Dolly" Townsend; and his grandson Jacob. He is survived by: his wife Terri Eads of Corning, Iowa; his children, Tommy Eads, Jr. of Plattsburg, Missouri, Michael Eads of Kansas City, Missouri, Misty Hamaseed (Aso) of Coventry and England; his stepson Martin Grace of Corning, Iowa; his grandchildren, Felisha (Drew), Cody (Tori), Shyanne (Gavyn), Shawn, Lana, Aiden, Erica, Caleb and Bruce; his brother Billy Eads of Turney, Missouri; and his brother-in-law Jim Townsend of Lathrop, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
