He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Peter and Janann Hass (Downey); and his parents-in-law, Cleo Houchin and Betty Houchin. He is survived by: his wife Pat Hass (Houchin) of Corning, Iowa; his children, Shane Bennett (Shannon) of Gravity, Iowa, Shannon Bennett of Wahington State and Stacey Bennett of Hinckley, Illinois; his grandchildren, Abi Hoepker (Tyler) of New Market, Iowa, Emilee Bennett (Carter DeMott) of Bedford, Iowa, Oby Ezuma of Hinckley, Illinois and Emeka Ezuma of Hinckley, Illinois; his brother Chris Hass (Barb) of Peoria, Arizona; and his nieces, Stephanie and Kelly.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center - Corning (701 7th St, Corning, IA 50841). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center (701 7th St, Corning, IA 50841).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Peter Hass Memorial Fund, to be established.
