It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin D. Steffen (Corning, Iowa), born in Griswold, Iowa, who passed away on November 20, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Benjamin and Blanche Larena Steffen (Clark); his wife Donna Faye Pace; and his siblings, Clark Steffen, Paul Steffen, Boyd Steffen, Aletha Acord and Lucy Guttau.
He is survived by: his children, Marva Philipsen (Michael) and Bart Steffen (Tina); his siblings, Wayne Steffen, Mary Davis (Bill), Henrietta Jane Reppas (Basil), Janet Martinez (Paul) and Arvada of Colorado; and his grandchildren, Melinda Kotagiri (Chaitanya), Dane Philipsen (Bridget Gongol), Desiree Claypool (Nyle), Alexandrea Ndoutoume (Boris) and Payten Knowles (John). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
