She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Esgar and Emma Cordelia Tindall (Carr); her siblings, Jimmy, Vaughn, Clifford and Wanda Lee; her daughter Mary; and her daughters-in-law, Anita and Kathleen.
She is survived by: her former husband James Briles; her children, Dr. Ed Briles (Brenda) of Idaho, Dr. James Briles of Florida, Dr. Tom Briles (Cindy) of Kansas and Dory Briles (Jim) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Tyler, Elena, Calvin, Kristen, Curtis, Lily, Hannah, Kimball and Pender; and her niece Michelle Leonard.
