Hazel Jean Maeder Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Jean Maeder of Corning, Iowa, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest and Edla Fleharty (Freburg); her husband Donald Edward Maeder; her grandson Tony; her grandson-in-law Jeremy Trichel; and her brother Roy Fleharty.
She is survived by: her sons, Donnie, Robert Maeder (Peggy) of Novinger, Larry Maeder (Janean) of Corning, Paul Maeder (Diane) of Corning and Donald Maeder (Loretta) of Wiota; and her sister-in-law Shirley Fleharty of Corning. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Care Initiatives Hospice in Greenfield, St. Patrick Catholic Church in Corning and/or Corning Specialty Care.
