With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Dimple McCune (Corning, Iowa), who passed away on April 24, 2020 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Dodge and Ruby Dodge (Kirkman); her husband Leslie "Bud" McCune; her son Russell McCune; and her siblings, Joye Ryan, Helen Preston and Varel Dodge.
She is survived by: her former husband Bernard Moore; her children, Anna (Phillip Elmquist) of Audubon, William J. (Nancy Moore) of Audubon, John L. (Teresa McCune) of Urbandale, Iowa and Janet L. (Edward Collins) of Audubon; her daughter-in-law Patti McCune of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Casey Moore, Corey (Dede Moore), Cali (Shawn Ewing), Zachary (Becca McCune), Anna (Chris Coppolecchia), Eric Collins (Melissa Murphy), Christy Trout (Danny Scharff), Carrie (Jason Riley), Joseph D. (Brittany Elmquist) and Bryan (McKenzie Elmquist); her great grandchildren, Bryce Trout, Brenden Trout (McKenzie Ehrenfried), Brinley Trout, Anna K. Moore, Sam, Bennet Ewing, Zella, Nova, Mavis McCune, Isabella, Gabriela, Eric Jr., Johnathan, Chance, Sloan Collins, Carter, Lorelei, Isadora Coppolecchia, Lane, Leyton, Rees Elmquist, Hudson, June Elmquist, Cadyn Riley and Taylor (Jared Pintore); her great great grandchildren, Laylah, Marshall and Ronin Pintore; and her sister Joan (Dean Windom). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and dear friends.
As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be given to the Good Neighbor Center, at 401 North Park, Audubon, Iowa 50025.
