She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Walton and Opal Walton (Walters); her siblings, Willis Walton, Maxine Griffith, Claudette Townsend, Lois Armstrong, Bobbie Walton, Betty Fleming, Connie Kelly and Ronnie Walton; and her sons, James, Timothy and Kevin Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Rice (Robert) of Villisca, Julie Davis (William) of Corning, Joseph Armstrong (Lois) of Farmington, MN, Douglas Armstrong (Sue) of Corning, IA, Jeffrey Conklin (Sheila) of Bridgewater, IA and Joshua Armstrong of Dexter, Iowa. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and over 50 great-grandchildren.
