We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2025, at the age of 86, Carol Shuler (Corning, Iowa), born in Villisca, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Laverne "Pepper" and Frances Loretta Moore (Long); her husband Bill Shuler; her brother Marty Moore; and her granddaughter Kari Lee Shuler.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Shuler (Lynda) of Corning, John Shuler (Dawn) of Corning and Catherine Connor (Pat) of Lenexa, KS.; her grandchildren, Bill Shuler (Jill) of Brooks, Aimee Bissell (Klint) of Bedford, Stacie McNinch (Colton) of Ankeny, IA, Stephanie Mayer (Ryan) of Harmony, MN, Patrick Connor (Kristen) of Bonner Springs, KS, Katie Mushrush (Chris) of Elmdale, KS, Dustin Shuler and Morgan Shuler; her great grandchildren, Braydon Bissell, Tucker Bissell, Kyle Shuler, Payton Shuler, Addison Shuler, Elyne McNinch, Piper McNinch, Carter Mayer, KyleeAnn Mayer and Henry Connor; and her sisters, Judy Brown (Bob) of Goodyear, AZ and Fern Frances (Dave) of Highland Village, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center - Corning (701 7th St, Corning, IA 50841). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the Prairie Rose Cemetery (1801 270th St, Corning, IA 50841).
