She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Stewart and Virgie Ada Hartman (Clark); her husband Dick Ashenfelter; her sons, Larry Ashenfelter and Allen Ashenfelter; her stepgrandson Mason Potter; and her siblings, Stewart Hartman, Eugene Springer, Audrey Townsend and Virgie Quinn.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Buzzard (John, Sr.) of Shenandoah, Susan Hickman (Ron) of Grandview, Missouri and Donald Ashenfelter (Dawn) of Corning, Iowa; her grandchildren, Carissa Johnson (Jeremy), John Buzzard, Jr. (Sally), Lee Hutchison, Jason Buzzard, Sayard Potter (Jimi), Logan Ashenfelter and Justin Buzzard (Doni); and her sister-in-law Georgia Springer of Fairbury, Nebraska. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
