She was predeceased by: her parents, Mochul Hendessi and Mahmood Hendessi; and her siblings, Hossain, Ali, Mansureh and Shamsi.
She is survived by: her husband John Weber of Mary's Catholic Church; her daughters, Mina Bargiel (Jeremy) of Glen Ellyn, IL and Monique Moore (Doug) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Ben Moore of Iowa City, Olivia Countryman (Eian) of Minnesota, Anna Moore of Iowa City, Julia Bargiel of Illinois and Andrew Bargiel of Illinois; and her brother Hassan Hendessi of Iran.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church - Iowa City (228 E Jefferson St, Iowa City, IA 52245). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Thomas More Building Fund.
