Norman Lewis Stoner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2022, at the age of 87, Norman Lewis Stoner (Coralville, Iowa), born in Independence, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Stoner and Velma Stoner (Stanford); his daughters, Sheryl and Michele; his siblings, Shirley, Verna, Dwight, Darwin, Duane "Mike", Lloyd and Irving; and his former wife Geraldine.

He is survived by: his wife Ella Louise Knoop (Gottman); his children, Kevin Stoner (Ardith) of North Liberty, Brian Stoner (Laura) of Williamsburg and Melissa Stoner (William Pratt); his grandsons, Matthew, Jeremy and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Jameson, Meela and Allyn; his stepchildren, Robert Knoop (Joan), Linda Cox (Robert), Karen Knoop and Lora Haberer (Eric); and his siblings, Dan Stoner of Independence, Connie Klinefelter (Craig) of Reinbeck and Wesley Stoner of Appleton, WI. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
