It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maynard Edward Rogers (Coralville, Iowa), who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Rogers and Velma Rogers (Frantz); his wife Colleen McDermott; his siblings, Kenneth, Larry and Joan Rogers; his great grandchild Kaden Cochran; and his brother-in-law Bob Corso.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Rogers (Diane) of Iowa City and Diane Madsen (John) of Coralville; his sisters-in-law, Jane Corso, Mary Ellen Rogers and Esther Rogers; his grandchildren, Ryan Rogers (Holly), Collin Rogers, Emily Schlote (Eric), Neil Madsen (Kelly) and Mallory Zitek (Zane); and his great grandchildren, Kaelynn, Kacen Cochran, Rylee Rogers, Baby Zitek, Addison, Ella and Zachary Schlote.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice.
