It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Cermak (Coralville, Iowa), who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schneider and Ella Schneider (Alwine); her husband Joe; her daughter Carol Cain; her grandson Kevin Hosier; her uncle Ben; her aunt Dorothy Schneider; and her cousins, Renee, Ron and Edwin.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Cermak (Diane), Chad Cermak (Dayna) and Annette Hosier (Jerry); her grandchildren, Katie Cermak-Sandburg (Lane), Connor Cermak, Joe Cermak III, Tyler Cermak, Lisa Cain and Mark Hosier (Wanda); her great grandchildren, Amelia Cain, Deborah Hosier, Christina Gossett (Chuck) and Matthew Hosier (Ali); and her son-in-law Mike Cain.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church or to Boys Town.
