She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Cary and Dorothy Cary (Skalicky); her husband Gerald R. Schulz; her siblings-in-law, Richard, John Schulz, Ruth Cary and Peggy Schulz; and her nieces, Kim Schulz and Diane DeVries.
She is survived by: her daughters, Emily Schulz of Iowa City and Elizabeth Schulz (Chris Gerlach) of North Liberty; her granddaughter Dorothy Gerlach; and her siblings, Virginia Creekmur (Dave) of Ashville, NC, Harold Cary (Carol) of Mason City and Roger Cary of Red Banks, Miss. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the King-Lynk Funeral Home (3507 Avenue L, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
