We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2023, at the age of 89, Lee G. Noel (Coralville, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Noel and Elizabeth Noel; his wife Mary Spainhower; his son Steve; his son-in-law John Mittelstaedt; his brother Milburn; and his sister-in-law Bernadine.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Beth Noel of Dakota Dunes, SD; his children, Mike Noel (Mary) of Iowa City, MaryLee Williams (John) of Cedar Rapids and Patrice Noel of Dayton, OH; his grandchildren, Hilliary Lukes (Brad), John Williams, Todd Noel (Emily), Lee Noel, Drew Noel, Kate Noel, Louis Noel (Victoria), Matthew Mittelstaedt and Marlow Mittelstaedt; his great grandchildren, Ryne and Addison Lukes; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Maushard, Peggy Belliston and Vance Belliston. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Iowa City Hospice, University of Iowa Newman Catholic Student Center, St. Thomas More Church, Coralville, IA, or a charity of your choice.
